October Session of the Economic and Trade Lecture Series Successfully Held
On October 11, the Economic and Trade Lecture Series, sponsored by Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Wuxi Customs, Wuxi Municipal Taxation Bureau, Wuxi Central Sub-branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Wuxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Jiangsu Customs Brokers Association, organized by Jiangsu Yuetong Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Jialida International Logistics Co., Ltd., and with Yuetong Enterprise Management Group (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. serving as the executive organizer, continued to be held. The theme of this session was: Corporate ESG Implementation and Report Disclosure. More than 10 participants from enterprises including Jiangsu Cainai Liaotiao Technology and CSSC Sai Siyi (Wuxi) Electrical Technology attended the lecture on-site, while over 200 people watched the live broadcast of the training online.
The lecture featured Ms. Liu Ming, President of Marketing and Consulting at Wei Wushi (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., as the guest speaker. Over the course of more than two hours, Ms. Liu explained what ESG is and how ESG disclosure reports are practically implemented. Afterwards, together with the host Ms. Jiang Weiqian, Chairwoman of Jiangsu Yuetong Certified Public Accountants Co., Ltd., she engaged with the audience in interactive discussions on hot ESG topics.
Focusing on hot topics such as new policies, new markets, trade facilitation, intellectual property, new trade formats, trade methods, and AEO certification, the Economic and Trade Lecture Series invites officials, experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from the trade field to deliver speeches and conduct interactive exchanges on topical issues. The series has received enthusiastic attention and positive feedback from both society and the business community, playing a positive role in stabilizing foreign trade and promoting the "dual circulation" development strategy, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of our city's export-oriented economy.
